Bansi and Kesari Rawa are extractions from the Dara or Malavraj variety of wheat. These are coarsely ground particles graded in different sizes and hence classified as Bansi and Kesari Rawa. These are distinctly golden yellow in colour and rich in dietary fibre. Bansi and Kesari Rawa are popular household staples and are used to make Daliya, Upma and seasonal specialities like haleem.
